The Overseas Nurses Programme
Course Description
For overseas qualified nurses to enable them to adapt previous education and experience to working in a UK healthcare environment and was developed to be comparable to the requirements made of UK trained nurses.

The core component of the programme is 20 days protected learning time (which everyone must undertake) plus, where appropriate, a period of supervised practice in a healthcare setting.

BSc (Hons) International Nursing Programme
Course Description
Offers the opportunity to gain an UK Honours degree in Nursing within an international learning environment. This programme focuses on having a critical understanding of the knowledge underpinning and influencing present day international nursing practice. A key component is the identification of strategies for culturally competent care across a range of care settings.

Entry Requirements
Route A : BSc (Hons) International Nursing with Overseas Nursing
                  Programme (ONP)
» Valid NMC decision letter
» IELTS of 7.0 in all areas
» Evidence of satisfactory health and character
 
Route B : Registered qualified nurses who has completed the ONP
                 Programme and wishing to progress to gaining a honours degree
» Diploma in Nursing
» IELTS 6.0 with level 6.0 in all bands
» Evidence of satisfactory health and character

NVQ: Health & Social Care Level 2 and 3

Course Description
Suitable for individuals working in nursing homes, domiciliary settings and social care environment. The programme is designed for those who are responsible in the delivery of physical, emotional, or enabling care to clients, whether they work in health and social care, in the public, private, or voluntary sectors.

NVQ: Health & Social Care Level 3 and 4
(Sandwich Course)
Course Description
The programme is a nationally recognized vocational qualification accredited by OCR., one of the UK‘s leading awarding bodies. Designed for staffs who deliver physical, emotional or enabling care to clients who have a medium to high degree of dependency, whether they work in health or social care, or in the public, private or voluntary sectors.

The award has links to the NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care award, but reflects a higher level of responsibility and specialization. As such, it is a potential progression route from Level 2.

NVQ Level 4 Leadership and Management for Care Services
Course Description
A work based learning course which is designed to enable candidates to become Leaders and Managers in a health and social care setting. Undertaking this programme will enable a candidate to gain further knowledge and understanding of the UK Healthcare system and its policies and procedures. The course includes both theory and periods of practical placement within a designated health care setting.

Preparatory Training
(for IELTS and NCLEX)
Course Description
ONTO Ltd offers a wide selection of English Language courses. All our teachers are native speakers and groups do not exceed 14, to allow more individualized learning experience. We also offer conventional classes involving grammar, reading and writing, theoretical pronunciation and much more.

» 6 months to 1year, depending on the course
